The man behind this piece needs no introduction at all… Jørn Utzon is widely regarded as Denmark’s most notorious architect and designer of all time.
Responsible for creating the legendary Sydney Opera House in Australia, the Dane’s thoroughly ingenious work has justifiably made him an icon of 20th century architecture. Without question, Utzon’s signature style is evident throughout the imaginative Concert P1.
Several bowl-shaped shades are constructed as one, overlapping each other so that light emits from the intentional gaps between them. Including the charming feature of both upward and downward illumination, the light expression is both diffused and glare-free without compromising its strength.
Providing an extensive ambient backdrop, the shape and styled function of this pendant lamp is a touch of sheer inspiration. We reproduce this design icon as close to the original specifications as possible, created in powder coated aluminium and acrylic.
Designed by the legendary Jørn Utzon, the Concert P1 is available in a black or white finish.
